How far in advance should I start planning my child’s Bar/Bat or B’Nai Mitzvah?

Plan the style and begin brainstorming what Tzedakah project your child would like to contribute to, then begin contacting services to check for available dates.
When should I hire a planner to assist me with the weekend events?
Most planners begin filling their calendars at least a year in advanced. As soon as you know the date, get in contact with an event planner who has expertise in planning Mitzvahs.
